US CMA Course Fees
The U.S. CMA (Certified ManagementAccountant) certification requires a financial investment covering
membership, exam, and study materials. To enroll, candidates must join the Institute
of Management Accountants (IMA), with professional membership costing
around $295/year and student membership between $45–$160/year.
A one-time CMA entrance fee is charged—$300
for professionals and $225 for students—to activate the 3-year exam
eligibility period. The CMA exam has
two parts, with fees of approximately $545
per part for professionals and $407 per part for students, though
some providers list slightly lower amounts.
Additionally, review courses and study
materials typically cost between $1,200 and $1,500, depending on the
provider. Overall, the total cost including membership, entrance, exam,
and study materials ranges from roughly $2,500–$3,200, with ongoing
annual membership and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) costs for maintaining
the certification.
