CPA USA Course Details
The Certified Public Accountant (CPAUSA) is one of the most prestigious accounting qualifications
recognized worldwide, especially in the United States. It is designed for
individuals who want to build expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation, and
financial management.
Eligibility
·
A bachelor’s
degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or related field.
·
In most U.S.
states, 120–150 credit hours of education are required (equivalent to a
graduate degree in India).
·
Some states
may allow non-accounting graduates with additional coursework.
Exam Structure
The CPA exam
is conducted by the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA) and consists of four sections:
1.
AUD (Auditing & Attestation) – Auditing processes, ethics, and professional responsibilities.
2.
BEC (Business Environment & Concepts) – Business framework, economics, IT, and corporate governance.
3.
FAR (Financial Accounting & Reporting) – US GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
4.
REG (Regulation) –
Taxation, business law, and ethics.
Each exam
section is 4 hours long, and candidates have 18 months to pass all four parts.
